I visited the attractive brewery taproom last month, sampled 5 of Linesider's beers and found, to my surprise, that Blonde Jovi was my favorite. The surprise factor is that I've never been a particular fan of Golden or Blonde Ales -usually light in taste with little body - and didn't really expect much from this one. Linesider's version with its 8.0 ABV is correctly labeled as an "Imperial Blonde" and the difference is obvious from the first mouthful. Plenty of both body and taste in this one. Before leaving the tap room, I purchased a 4-pack of cans for home consumption and found that my initial tasting of the draft product was also borne out by the canned product.
Glad to have found a Blonde Ale worthy of repeat purchases - and I've already made a few.
