Taster at the brewery
Finally picking my RI brewery journey back up and starting the night at LineSider. I like the vibe in here already though it’s a pretty slow night, and a raspberry sour sounds good for a warm summer night. Let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy pinkish orange with a finger of pink tinted white head that quickly fades to a cap and leaves minimal lacing
Unsurprisingly, it’s a bit one-dimensional in the nose, but it’s still good. I’m picking up on aromas of tart raspberry, orange juice, lemon zest, and light honey
It’s similarly one-dimensional in taste, but it’s brighter than I expected which is nice. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart raspberry, lemon juice, crackery malt, and orange zest. The swallow brings notes of orange juice, jammy raspberry, crackery malt, and lemon juice
A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a zesty and refreshing beer. Finishes slightly sticky but still good
It’s nothing amazing, but it’s certainly solid. I think I’ll be coming back to this brewery
