Smug Brewing

A cozy taproom with about 8 chairs at the bar. Indoor tables with a few comfy chairs. Very pleasant bartender who was attentive. Eight beers on tap, 5 cans available to drink in-house, and four NA beers. Flights; and cans to go. I did a flight and couldn’t finish any of the generous 5oz pours from freshly opened cans at the bar. Pity about the beers, the place looked like a good taproom to hang out in, with abundant parking in the adjoining lot. I would not return.

In a ground floor corner of an old brick industrial building that now houses a variety of different businesses. Small L-shaped bar opposite the entrance to the left seats about 10 with additional seating about the room. 8 beers on tap, a few more available in cans. Very much a locals joint. Friendly bartender.

 

 

 

I was visiting the area and stopped in to pick up some brews in cans to take home. The bar area is small but vibe is good. It seemed very clean. They had a good selection of cans to go. I wish I had time to stay for a beer.

This is located at the previous location of the Bucket Brewery, which sadly went out of business in 2018. Fortunately, the beer quality may actually be a step up.

Five beers offered with two IPAs and two stouts. The quality of each is high, though.
