Hogaza

Presentation: Draft, served in a pilsner glass.

Appearance: The one finger head stays around for a while and settles down into a thin foam layer. It leaves some thick, patchy lacing. It's a hazy, antique gold color.

Smell: It has a soft but very pleasant aroma of freshly baked bread, honey and grains.

Taste: The grainy, honey sweet and filling bread is all over the palate. There's a slight hint of bitterness in the background but it's not that noticeable.

Mouthfeel: It's quite soft and medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall: The bread really comes through in the aroma and taste and make for a really good beer. It definitely exemplifies the old notion that beer is liquid bread.
