Presentation: 32 oz. crowler with the canning date written on the label. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: The tightly packed, tan colored, two finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a lot of thick, patchy lacing. It's a very dark brown, almost black color. A reddish, dark amber hue shows up towards the edges.
Smell: It's a very aromatic, freshly ground cinnamon smell with a some coconut in the background.
Taste: Just like the smell, cinnamon is the main note on the palate as well. There's some coconut and brown sugar sweetness to balance things out though. It also has some roasted malt and coffee flavors in the aftertaste as well.
Mouthfeel: It's relatively light but it has substance so it feels more medium bodied. Carbonation is low.
Overall: The strong cinnamon presence is definitely gonna be divisive since it's so prominent. Some are gonna love it, some will not.
