Vaccaro's Italian sponge cake soaked in rum is spun into the mash of this traditional barleywine. Big malty profile with hints of dark fruit. Then aged for eleven months in Colombian rum barrels for a beautifully complex and easy-drinking barleywine.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a very dark brown color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of fruits, malts, rum. Taste is rum, malts, light hops, alcohol is present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
