This West Coast Style IPA was brewed with base malt and a hint of Crystal malt. We fermented it with Kveik Voss and it then underwent 2 rounds of dry-hopping with Simcoe and Sabro.

Appearance - Pours a cloudy apricot with four fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - citrus, tropical hops, peach, papaya, mango, apricot, passion fruit, and other tropical fruits, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.

Taste - citrus, tropical, and all of a sudden piney, earthy, and floral hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit peel, peach, papaya, mango, and other tropical fruits come through next. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, fruits, and pine resin lingering.

Overall - A interesting brew that initially displayed elements of a NE IPA but then suggested a West Coast IPA with the pine resin and grapefruit peel helping to support the tropical fruits. A quaffable brew that I could see myself visiting again.

Ile Sauvage Brewing 'Ouest' @ 7.0% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a hazy gold from the can to a hazy orange/gold in the glass with a medium size white head leaving a fine spotty lace along the Spiegelau
S-very tropical
T-NE IPA first and Simcoe & Sabro make tangerine , interesting
MF-ok/mild carbonation , big medium body
Ov-wrong coast IPA , not West Coast to hazy

Poured from a 473ml can. 70 IBU's. This West Coast Style IPA was brewed with base malt and a hint of Crystal malt. We fermented it with Kveik Voss and it then underwent 2 rounds of dry-hopping with Simcoe and Sabro.
Pours hazy for a West Coast but a nice pour a big thick head and crazy sticky lacing.
A dry finish Kveik all in all a nice IPA.
