What is a Mako Gold? It's a golden porter made with a healthy helping of flaked oats and flaked barley for a full bodied mouth feel. Hopped with Bramling Cross - a cross between Golding (more gold) and a wild Manitoba hop. Bramling Cross imparts subtle flavours of black current and lemon. Once it finished fermentation we "dry-hopped" it on cacao nibs for a chocolatey finish. It pours golden, and tastes like heaven.
