Citra, Centennial, and Columbus hops kick off classic northwest flavours of citrus and pine, balanced against a solid malt backbone. A well-deserved reward after a hike up to the falls themselves.

Initially on tap at brewery then purchased a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans. A little emotionally biased, as many hikes up to Twin Falls in my hometown until the late 1980’s, though now over a decade since last trip home. Made the short hike after enjoying the beer at the brewery soaked in nostalgia.
Pours a bright and clear copper/amber with two fingers of creamy slightly tawny off white head.
Aroma of pine and citrus - grapefruit, lime - some spicy herbal hops - whiff of garlic - touch of caramel malt.
Hop forward on the palate - piney and a touch resinous; grapefruit with herbal and weedy bitterness that overwhelms a caramel malt sweetness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a pleasantly aggressive lingering bitterness.
Such a solid NW Pale….as a compliment reminiscent of Deschutes Red Chair NW Pale Ale.
