Named after one of the original ski runs on Hudson Bay Mountain, this dark, rich, and roasty American-style porter features bold notes of coffee, molasses, and dark chocolate. A perfect pairing with winter in the North, and a fine addition to your apres-ski gatherings.

16 ounce can purchased at Keg n Cork in Edmonton - could not resist a beer from my hometown, named after the run I learned to ski on as a youth - better yet - it is fantastic.
Pours a very dark brown, could be called black in the glass, with a finger plus of fine bubbly dark tan head.
Nose of roasty coffee, chocolate, molasses with some earthy hops.
Sweet chocolate malt on the palate with sweetened coffee, again hints of molasses with a very gentle leafy earthy bitterness at the back.
Medium mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a super smooth finish.
Past my bias, this is a really fine porter that I would drink anytime.
