This is my first beer from the new Camp Colvos Brewing, and they are off to a good start.
Rye IPA is exactly what it says it is. It's a straightforward American IPA, with good hoppiness and just a bit of caramel in the taste. The rye in the taste is just right.
I've had several rye IPAs over the years, especially in the upper Midwest, where this style seems more popular. Camp Colvos's new rye IPA would fit in well with the established rye IPAs.
