16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a cloudy straw color with 2 fingers of creamy white head. Has the faintest tinge of fuchsia color. Great head retention. Leaves a large crown of lacing along the glass. Gorgeous beer.
The aroma has soft notes of fresh strawberries and citrus, with some lighter salinity and lactic acid. Modest, straightforward smell, but still pleasant.
The taste starts with some light salinity and extremely faint tartness and is followed by a wave of grains and doughy yeast. Finishes fruity with strawberry and lemon.
The feel is a bit too thick for the style, and lacks that acidic bite you would expect. Moderately high carbonation. Finishes very dry.
Overall, this is a pretty good fruited gose. The strawberry flavor is definitely present, and there's just enough salty salinity here. Unfortunately there's barely any lactic acid or sour fermentation, which makes this drink more like a fruit beer than a gose. Still, it's very drinkable and entirely inoffensive.
