I had my first beer from Nightmare just a few weeks ago, a Gose that was non traditional but quite good. This one sounds even more exciting to me. Strawberry can be hard to get right in beer, but I have faith in them. Let’s get into it
Pours an opaque pale gold with 3 fingers of dense but airy off white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves minimal lacing
This is very bright in the nose, it’s so alive with subtle complexities. I’m picking up on aromas of crackery malt, dehydrated strawberry, black pepper, lemon zest, earthy guava, basil, mango skin, and tangerine
It holds up in taste, maybe not quite as tart but still nicely balanced. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting wet hay, lemon zest, bready malt, juicy strawberry, white pepper, honey, mango skin, and mint. The swallow brings notes of mango skin, tannic blueberry, crackery malt, lemon juice, dehydrated strawberry, earthy honey, basil, light vanilla, and guava
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth and crisp beer. Finishes bone dry and balanced
Oh yeah, this one is great. Nightmare is looking really good to me these days

Served in a snifter glass.
Appearance: Cloudy pink tinted yellow body with medium bubbles and a white head which had an initial rise of half a fingers length off the body.
Smell: Citrus lemon skin, hits the nose a little different.
Taste: Of course the brew is sour, lime zest with sweet strawberry and hints of creamy malt.
Mouth: Sticky beer which a superb palate cleanser.
Overall: Glad I bought 3 four packs. Perfect in between or start for the night. Always in a glass. Salud!
