Decent aroma: Coffee and licorice primarily, but also notes of chery and cocao. But poor head retention, or even head formation. And flavor is a little syrupy with a touch of cola. Just ok for a dark beer in a pinch... which is what I am in here in the carribean.

Found and purchased in Kigali, Rwanda. Poured from the 500mL can into a mug. The beer is a very dark brown with hints of red shining through at the edges. Head is very light tan, foamy, and had medium retention.
Smell: Burnt sugar, brown sugar, leather, wood, caramel, dark fruit, roasted malt. A surprisingly rich aroma.
Taste: Slightly sweet, but also contains a good amount of roasted malt and toffee. Caramel in the middle. Finishes slightly sweet but with a savory or smoky note through the end.
This was a very pleasant surprise, and I'd love to pick this up again soon!

Black in the glass with beige fine head that reduces to a rim. Highlights are copper. no sediment. clear. some lacing. fine carbonation. looks great.
Aroma is nutty, with some dark chocolate, little coffee, distant hops
Taste is again nutty, chocolate, little sweet, some roasty malt bitterness but very little compared to other stouts.
Body is on thinner side with tickling fine carbonation. some warming alcohol.
This a really good stout that is bordering a nutty brown ale with its reduced roasty aroma and taste. Very drinkable also for the high abv. Not too exciting but simply good.
