Golden color with a big head with decent retention and leaving good laces.
Sweet aroma from its malt with grassy hops.
Flavor with notes of Lager yeast, spicy and grassy hops and bread malt. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light towards medium body with good carbonation.
Average but decent German Pils. Balanced, refreshing and no bad flavors. I am sure I would not complain to have this again.

It says: WEIDMANN german beer IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GERMAN PURITY LAW, Its a new player here in Bogotá, a budget german beer, cheaper than my preferred imported.

Color: bold golden, a tad darker than a normal blonde, pleasant, clear.
Head: Its there but its thin
Smell: promising fresh and good things to come
Taste: very light, somehow not as good as the smell
After: its very light, no bitter, gone fast

I liked It but its no better than my national preferred brew the Red Club Colombia

Strange one this: found in a small tourist supermarket in Kalamaki, on the Greek island of Zante.

330ml can claiming to be brewed by a German brewery (un-named) for 'Zuid Hollandse Bierbrouwerij, Breda' so I'm guessing it's an INBEV product?

Anyway it was a little darker than anything else on the Greek lager/pilsner front that I could see. Typical look and colours you'd expect from a beer brewed under the 'Reinheitsgebot', thin head and golden, just a slightly deeper gold.

Nothing special about it, apart from finding it!

Taken on the terrace of my apartment while on holiday, fine warm sunny weather drink, but not something I'd have in the UK unless it was bought for me.
