a little bit generic but well made, like not hops that are challenging or different in any way, but the execution is thoroughly professional, and this drinks light for its abv, a solid ipa without too much grain heft weighing it down, moderately high bitterness giving it a brisk poppy finish, and a cleanness in the fermentation that really highlights the freshness, a fine brew indeed, even if it kind of feels like ive had it a million times before even though its my first pour. unfiltered looking but not a hazy, yellowish orange but still light looking, fizzy but holding only a thin white head a quarter inch high after a minute. the aroma is fruity and a little piney, peach and mango and fresh growth spruce, some dankness, light grain sweetness to balance, all very fresh, without fermentation character hardly at all, apricot jam, marmalade, pungent and appealing and quite modern, woodsy and tropical at the same time, and thats true in the flavor too, juicy up front, more dank and resinous later, but nothing too intense and certainly nothing vegetal or green, this is bright and fresh and actually fairly effortless for it being this flavorful. some light weediness, very west coast there, bitterness ramps fast past the center but it never takes over, and its relatively clean on the swallow. there could be some wheat in this, its light overall but does have a bit of structure that i think carries and balances the hops rather effectively. quality beer, nice one two punch with the hop personalities, again not radical, this is actually overly familiar with the hops, but they are well dosed, well layered, well combined, and the beer overall stands out for its cleanness not its originality, well done, scary drinkable...
