This summer recipe uses a Mexican yeast and yellow maize to create a pale yellow color. Captures a unique balance of citrus, sweet and earthy notes using 3 staple ingredients attentive to the Mexican culture. This Mexican Lager perfect for all of those "craft beer beginners" out there who are still trying to break away from the dying world of "domestic beer".

Pours a mainly clear darker yellow color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is minimal. Lacing is very mild. Aroma is larger yeast with some lime. Heavier taste. Standard Mexican lager yeast with lime. Very smoo, though. Higher ABV raises the viscosity. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Not a great fan of lagers but enjoyed. Was dressed with lime and salt at the brewery; light and refreshing; clean.

This Mexican lager has a high abv however it is thick, syrupy, and not a light Mexican lager you’d expect on a warm day. They dressed it with salt and lime which did not help at all.
