Poured from a howler from the Brewer's Apprentice.
Appearance - Pours a cloudy apricot with two fingers of frothy white head that leaves pleasant lacing on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, apricot, orange peel, pineapple, citrus rind, hint of pineapple, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops followed by the apricot, orange peel, pineapple, citrus rind, and pineapple. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A pleasant NE IPA that displays the tropical fruits very well. You can definitely taste the tropical fruits in this brew. Another enjoyable brew from the folks at Cabin.
