Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot gold with four fingers of frothy white head that leaves some pleasant looking lace on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, pineapple, apricot, hint of peach, citrus and grapefruit peel, bready malts, and earthy fruity yeast.
Taste - Pungent citrus and tropical hops upfront. The pineapple comes through next as the strong tropical fruit followed by the apricot, citrus and grapefruit peel. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes slightly off dry with the hops, and fruits lingering.
Overall - A true stand out of a NE IPA. The flavours are spot on and very bold and pungent. I could only imagine the difference in taste in the taproom itself. This one is truly a gem of a brew!
