Cabin's latest rotational New England IPA brewed with guava and Aji Amarillo chiles.
Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot with three fingers of frothy white head that leaves some puffy lace on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, guava, apricot, pineapple, hint of chile spice, orange and citrus peel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The guava, apricot, pineapple, orange and citrus peel follow suit. Then the chiles make a bold presence. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, tropical fruits, and the heat from the chiles lingering.
Overall - A tasty NE IPA that tests the boundaries by adding chiles to the mix. Cabin has presented a brew that delivers on both the tropical front and the bold spicy characteristic of the chiles. This one is a true stand out and is a must try!
