Appearance - Pours a warm chestnut brown with two fingers of foamy off-white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, cocoa, roasted malts, nutty aromas, and earthy yeast.
Taste - mild earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The cocoa, roasted malts, and nutty aromas follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the malts and cocoa lingering.
Overall - A pleasant malty and flavourful brew from Cabin. This one is very sessionable and it is indeed a "Simple Pleasure".
