Poured from a 32oz howler from Alberta Beer Exchange.
Appearance - Pours a clear apple juice colour with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - apples, peaches, raspberry, nectarine, earthy and leafy hops, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - tart apples, peaches, raspberries, and nectarine upfront but the predominant flavour is apple. The earthy and leafy hops, and bready malts follow suit. The earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes tart with the fruits lingering.
Overall - A bold and flavourful sour from Cabin. A nice rare gem to be sampled from this great Cowtown brewery. If you have an opportunity to get your hands on this it is well worth a try!
