NZ hopped hazy IPA.
Appearance - Pours a foggy apricot with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - tropical and citrus hops, orange, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, hint of papaya, orange and grapefruit peel, peach, apricot, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold tropical and citrus hops upfront. The orange, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, hint of papaya, orange and grapefruit peel, peach and apricot follow suit. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and tropical fruits lingering.
Overall - A superb NZ hazy IPA. This one is just a touch off the stellar IPA's I had the privilege of sampling with my wife in my previous travels to NZ. A highly quaffable brew that delivers on all fronts. Another stellar of a brew from the folks at Cabin!
