A collaboration brew with Born Colorado. This one is the distance (87 steps) between both breweries.
A tart NE IPA with pineapple and guava.
Appearance - Pours a hazy pineapple with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, citrus and orange peel, pineapple, guava, bready malts, and earthy tropical yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops upfront. The citrus and orange peel come through next then quickly goes into a pleasant tartness then the pineapple and guava shine through. The bready malts and earthy tropical yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart and sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A solid brew that displays all elements to a tee. This one is a nice ode to commemorate the distance between two solid Cowtown breweries. A nice treat if you come across it.
