Sometimes, a beer is just meant to be. It comes as a vision – and once you’ve imagined it, there’s no point fighting it, so you may as well just jump in boots and all and bring it to life.

When we first laid eyes on Kilter Brewing in Winnipeg, it was love at first sight. The beer, the branding, the vision and the attention to quality all gelled so nicely with Cabin’s ideals, we couldn’t NOT work together.

We started where the vision told us to start – by mashing up our two hazy flagship beers Juicii and Super Saturation. We wanted something super. Something juicy. Something…. Super Juicii? Heck yeah! We took a few hops from this beer, a few from that, ramped up the malt bill and BAM – we have one epic haze monster, bursting with tropical aromas and with a rich, full body that’ll feel like velvet in a glass (if velvet smelled like awesome).

Only available for a short time – get it while you can!

A collaboration with Kilter Brewing in Winnipeg, MB.

Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot with three fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - citrus and tropical hops, mango, papaya, pineapple, peach, citrus and orange peel, guava, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The bold tropical fruits of papaya, mango, pineapple, peach, citrus, orange peel, and guava come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the bold tropical fruits lingering.

Overall - A bold, flavourful and highly sessionable brew. This is a pleasant collaboration brew done with a brewery out of province. Next time I find myself in Manitoba whenever it's safe to do, I will check out Kilter brewing's offerings. This one is definitely a dangerous beer as I can easily drink multiple. An interesting concept to merge two core beers together to create a nice cohesion of flavours.
