It’s said the devil is in the detail, and that’s especially true for Belgian beer styles.
Bright & Early Belgian Golden Strong (10%) is deceptively simple, yet beautifully nuanced. A basic grain bill of 100% Euro Pils malt and light Pahto and Czech Saaz hop additions support insanely complex Belgian yeast esters and phenols, with notes of bubble gum, candied orange, pear and light pepper spice dominating. It’s a riot of aromas from start of glass to finish.
Definitely drink it now, but cellar some to compare with a version that is aging in white wine and pear brandy barrels until winter.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a light yellow with minimal head. The nose is full of caramel. Lovely. The taste is toffee, honey, lemon, malts, Belgian yeast, and a touch of maple. I'm a big fan of this one.
