Visited here for beer and dinner on a Thursday vevening in early April on a road trip from home (Cincinnati) to Warroad, MN.
This place is a gem. They’ve taken a rather modern building and made it old-style comfortable — a very attractive bar area, books lining an entire wall of one wing of the dining area giving that view the feel of an old library … .
The outside tables would have looked attractive on a warmer evening.
Music was unobtrusive in the background, lighting was comfortable, and conversation quite possible.
Service was well-informed, fast, and delightful. The food selection was broad enough for just about any taste, and the food was well-prepared and very attractively presented. I had a Caesar Salad that included marinated tomatoes — unusual and excellent — and very good chicken wings with an Asian sauce. My wife’s wood-fired pizza was very good, and the house-made dessert was excellent.
Beer selection was broad, and the beers were good to outstanding — the Rauchweizen was as good a Hefe as I’ve ever had, and we liked the BBA RIS in the flight so well that we took a couple crowlers of it with us.
This has to be one of Wisconsin’s best — we’re already looking forward to returning.

We went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 and the place was packed. My wife and I started with the cheese curds, which were very flavorful. My wife and I each tried two different pizzas they were both excellent; my daughter said the cheeseburger was phenomenal. Overall a very nice place--the only thing I didn't care for was that it was rather noisy...other than that it's an excellent place to grab a beer.
