Snifter pour.
Silky brown-black body with a thin ring of head.
Aroma is just sopping wet barrel. Of course, they have nearly unlimited access to that shit here in TN. Heavy roast char and milk chocolate at equal levels, with tons of caramel and brown sugar. Man this is so sweet and roasty and alcoholic. Love it.
Flavor opens with slight mineral, and then the dam breaks - heavy caramel, toasted brown sugar, dark chocolate, fudge, hot whiskey, bourbon sweetness, peanut, and a finish of sweet toffee.
Feel is thin, that's where it falls short, but is burning and sticky.
Overall, if they could bump this up by about 4% this would be an absolute killer. Fantastic barrel aged stout, I'm gonna ask if I can take some home.
