Copenhagen 1/2 2023. 50 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Steel can with a colored frame in pink fading to green and yellow.
Pours opaque murky burgundy with a big pink head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet smoothie-like odor mingling with subtle notes of unripe berries and citrus fruits. Peach and currants. Sour blackberries and citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
More sour than pastry.
