Our most West Coast leaning IPA, brewed with a little help (and honey) from our friends at Fallentimber Meadery. Featuring the key ingredients in a Hot Toddy Cocktail, but served to you cold, in beer form. Freshly harvested honey, lemon zest, and a lot of hops went into late kettle additions creating an almost citronella candle like aroma, a citrus and pine forward flavour profile featuring hints of honey and caramel sweetness with a distinctive dry and bitter finish.

Poured from a howler purchased at Collective here in Cowtown.
Appearance - Pours a cloudy gold/deep yellow with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, citrus, hint of piney, and floral hops, lemon peel and zest, mild pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - mild earthy, citrus, hint of piney, and floral hops upfront. The lemon peel, zest, and honey are at the forefront of this brew. The pine resin is there but doesn't have quite the presence as it should. The grapefruit and citrus peel alongside the bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the mild hops and lemon peel, zest honey, and mild pine lingering.
Overall - An interesting experiment but I feel as though it falls flat in execution in mimicking the "hot toddy" cocktail. Ah well, an interesting and respectable brew nonethess.
