Discover our Czech-style Amber Lager, or Polotmavý Ležák - Czech for ‘Half-Dark Lager’. Perfect for the changing seasons, this crisp amber beer delivers the rich, comforting notes of toasted bread and caramel, balanced by the earthy and floral character of traditional Czech Saaz hops. As autumn rolls around and it’s ‘half-dark’ at 4 pm, you’ll know exactly which beer to grab.

Had recently on tap at Campio, and then in 16 ounce can.
Crystal clear amber with copper undertones on tap, slightly less clear from can, with two fingers of tawny coloured dense bubbly head.
Nose is bready and toasty with floral notes along with some caramel character.
Malty and gently sweet on the palate with toasted white bread, caramel, toffee, a hint of a fruity hit, floral and some soft earthy bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with a richness that punches above the 4.7% ABV; moderate carbonation with a crisp clean finish.
Perhaps I have not had enough Czech Ambers, but this falls into the “I could drink every day and be totally happy” beers.
