On tap @ The Taphouse, Townsville. Lovely bright apricot gold appearance. Fruity/grassy nose, very appealing. Pine and tropical fruits on the palate. If I didn't know better I'd say someone has tried to clone Ballast Point Sculpin; very similar although 8 bit is a tad more full bodied which tends to soften the hop character. Great IPA out of Australia

Fridged at Beer Cartel and tastes like it was brewed yesterday.
Full of grassy and floral hops on the nose, and another adder to the New Wave of Aussie IPAs a la Riverside and Modus Operandi. Loads of lychee, mango, stone fruit, and less of the citrus/pine makes it a breeze to drink. Smooth mouthfeel, almost creamy.
Top stuff. Freshness is the key!
