Comes in a light brown half liter bottle with an interesting label featuring what looks an awful lot like a shrimp or lobster holding a beer. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Bottled on 7/11/03, I opened it on 7/26/03.
Poured a reddish gold with essentially no head, just a layer of film on top of the liquid. Had a pretty strong sour citrus smell. The mouth was heavy, with not much carbonation. The taste was mildly sour in an unpleasant way, chased by a touch of malt in the finish. The aftertaste is fruity sour. I couldn't discern any hops presence whatsoever. While this beer is not awful, it sure isn't pleasant, either.
