Standard brown half liter bottle wiht an unimaginative silver label. Rice is listed as an ingredient. Bottled on the Fourth of July, I opened it on 8/1/03.
Poured a clear, very bubbly oranged tinted gold under a bubbly white head that made a gallant effort to stick around for a while, but was ultimately unsuccessful. The nose is malty sweet, while the mouth was prickly, light and a bit sour. The initial taste is malty, followed in turn by citrus sour, metallic and then harsh bitter. The finish is sour malt, with a mildly bitter aftertaste.
