On draft at Parker County Brewing Co. Poured into a 21oz frankfurt style mug. Beautiful color ranging from gold to amber to cherry to brown. Slightly off-white head that slowly dwindles down to a persistent ring. Leaves some really nice lacing as well. Constant stream of bubbles emitting from the bottom of the glass. Smell is caramel and toffee with a bit floral hop essence. Taste follows the smell, with caramel, toffee, with a fairly high level of bitterness; 48 IBU is what is stated on the beer-wall-menu. Malt forward as far as flavor goes, but still quite dry; it's just so nicely balanced with the hop regiment. Kind of like a sessionable (and summer) version of Rahr's Winter Warmer, at 6% abv. Carbonation is full while mouthfeel is slightly less than moderate, creating a sort of mouthfeel paradox. Amazing brew overall.. I highly recommend!
