I love porters but this one is not for me. Sour. Thin. I am always disappointed when a beer tastes like what I used to brew back in the day. I do appreciate the strong coffee flavor and smell.

16 oz can.
Pours a dark cola brown color with a nice, fluffy tan head. Good head retention. Leaves a halo of lacing around the glass.
Aromas of roasted coffee and nuts with some dark malts.
The flavor has a bit more going on, with notes of roasted coffee, cherry coke, fig, caramel and light chocolate. Coffee is definitely strong throughout. Finishes bitter.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Has a lingering bitterness.
Overall, this is a pretty good coffee porter. There's really not much going on here, but it's a solid, drinkable beer with a good amount of flavor despite the low ABV.

A great smelling coffee porter. The coffee flavor overwhelms and finishes with bitter. I prefer a porter that has a few more flavors like chocolate or vanilla.

A Billion Barbies"
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch tan head over a black body with a bit of sticky lacing. Nose of subdued aromas of dark malt and coffee. Taste of a bit more pronounced coffee with coffee (and hop) bitterness on the finish. Good feel and overall, a solid coffee porter and would definitely have again. Cheers to all the brewers involved!
