Canned 12/01/25. Golden yellow pour with moderate haze. Citrus notes on the nose and palate, with a little tartness, too. Hoppy, lightly bitter finish.

Hazy orange/dirty gold color. Large starting head that leaves random chunky spots on the glass. The head sticks around throughout the tasting.
Floral hop nose up front. It's not so strong as to overwhelm the pleasant pale malt nose. There's an unusual hint of fresh cut mint (almost weedy) in the background.
The pale ale leans to the hoppy side. There are grapefruit rind and orange zest flavors. Again, the malt holds up, although the body is neutral. The carbonation is fine as in tight bubbles. The start has a light sweetness but this disappears in the bitter swallow. Moderate length for the aftertaste.

On tap at The Holy Grail Epping
Hazy murky lemon yellow in color with a decent sized frothy white head that persists. Lemony tropical earthy grassy notes with faint bread to counter. Good beer, I didn't notice the kviek.

Fresh from the brewery.
Looks: hazy white gold, mega fluffy white smooth dome.
Nose: effervescent style malted grains, earthy, citrus peel, stone fruit, long grain and wild rice, and sweet fruity backdrops.
Taste & Feels: heavy on the hearty, husky golden malted grains. Citrus and chalk line with clove hops. Crisp, then flat feeling, long a soft finish.
Overall: Just mediocre, funktified style pale ale.

16 oz. can.
Can's bottom reads:

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy/murky body with sticky lacing. Nose of citrus and very slight pine with a bit of tropical/herbal/floral aromas as well. Taste is citrus with a slight tropical flavor; very smooth and well balanced. Nice feel and overall, a great little APA with loads of flavor for a 5%er.
Cheers to this for being my first offering from Northwood, NH!

Purchased from Berts.
This is an exceptional pale ale from a local microbrewery. Look, smell and taste is superb. Tasted a second time. A light pale ale with nice flavors of orange and citrus.
Tasted a third time on 9/4/23. The lemon smell seems more pronounced. Not an old-style pale ale. Tasted a third time. See above.

Aunt, who knows I love craft beer but hasn’t got a clue of tastes, brought me this beer. Damned fine brew from a brewery i’d Never heard of. Smooth, nice looking pour, solid beer and I will put this brewery on my hit list.
