Meet your new après ski beer. This fruity, tart, yet creamy and sweet kettle sour is our ode to the wintery spirits of the East. Plum and cherry puree provide jammy flavors while a hearty dose of Tahitian vanilla (if you spot black flecks, that's what you're seeing!) balances out the tartness. An eccentric sour that may cause one to become frolicsome in a giddy way.

Nucleated Tulip
Look: Hazy dark red-purple body, pouring a 1 finger head which quickly dissipated into a thin ring and nearly any lacing
Smell: Vanilla, lactose funk, red fruit. Fairly weak nose overall
Taste: Lightly sour, sweet vanilla. Hint of lactose funk. Very little plum and cherry notes. Alcohol on the backend.
Feel: Gently carbonated with a moderate mouthfeel.
Overall: Its ok. Really misses the mark on what was described on the label.

On tap at Defiant. Well, this one looked pretty tasty and the brewer's description sounded like it would be right up my alley, but overall pretty weak sour due to lack of malt backbone, and barely perceptible qualities of those noted in the desc. It was fairly boring, but not so boring that I didn't have a 2nd one to be sure!
