Have a few cans of this in my bier fridge, snagged at the Mount Uncanoonuc Brewfest last October.... canned on 23SEP22, I'd best be quaffing them soon!!
Poured a can into a Willi Becher glass.... It's a clear, vibrant, rich, yellow-golden color. Has a good amount of steady carbo within, and fluffy, creamy layer of white suds on top. The head started at 1" but has slowly ebbed to about 1/4", with nice lacing on the glass. The nose is loaded with notes of bread dough and lightly toasted malt. Really smells like a true Märzen should! Has a solid medium body, and the feel is smooth and easy on the tongue.
Flavor has light sweetness and great notes of toasted bread, cookie dough and mild caramel. Unsure what this is hopped with, but it seems like Noble hops may have been used. Has some spicy, herbal notes poking through the malty base. Finishes clean and dry, with the hop character lingering nicely on the palate. I recall this being the best of the numerous Märzens I tried at the Mt U Fest, and it is still solid. Prosit!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
