the very first i have ever had or seen from these guys, and an awesome little bottle of beer. so cool that this kind of thing seems to be happening all over the world now. they use wine and ale yeast in here, which is at times vinous, at other times funky, and then also quite fruity and interesting, tastes a little oxidized in the green glass, but its a cool beer nevertheless, with a bunch of neat botanicals in it. lavender is evident, as is bitter citrus, both seem uplifting and springy in here, especially in a beer without quite as much carbonation as i think the style should have. they also use juniper berries in here, which gives it a lightly medicinal note that i think is awesome with the complex and unique fermentation profile, earthy too, and this just keeps coming in some really interesting layers. grassy, bitter, some herbal hops too, good body, simple grist, pretty compelling overall. i think the bottle conditioning could be a little better, and i think this is a really ambitious brew thats pretty close to being epic. it has me real curious about yonder, and hungry for more of their stuff. the packaging looks like it could have come from american solera or something, and the beer kind of tastes like it too. overall a really cool introduction to a brewery i knew nothing about before my trip to london. this was a treat to share with my friends there!
