I tried this at the brewery there at the ice rink. It was a solid offering.

Good aromas; mild hoppy taste. My opinion, a very good IPA.

On tap at CJ's. First time here. Sampled the Scotch ale and wasn't too impressed. Luckily, this brew was much better.
A: Fantastic lacing. No head retention. Bright golden and cloudy.
S: Reminds me a bit of Two Hearted, but not as floral. Centennial hops very present. Some juicy fruits detectable, but I had to dig for them.
T: Big hop bitterness. First sip, I detected little malt backbone. As I drank the beer more and it warmed up a bit, I could pull a bit more flavor from it. The juicy hops are occasionally present in the beer, and the hop bitterness lingers in your mouth after your drink (which I like)
O: A great beer from CJ's! I wish they were a bit more experimental or had more beers on tap. I live in White Lake, so all of the legendary breweries are in Warren, Marshall, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids... White Lake gets CJ's. Not a bad place, but it seems that the beer is somewhat of an afterthought.

I am sure they changed the formulation of this beer brew from the previous reviews, so I really feel obligated to review this one.
A: Amber colored with a two finger head that is rather creamy and doesn't die down too quickly. Too dark and lacks the radioactive orange color of some of the best American IPAs. Nice lacing makes up for the color (to a degree).
S: Smells like centennial hops and not much else. Not as aromatic as something like Bell's Two Hearted, but a lot more aromatic than any other beer they serve here. Malt and complexities are lost in the aroma.
T: Taste is of [centennial] hops. The hops overpower the malt backbone, yet aren't strong enough where they actually should overpower said backbone, this makes me think this beer has thin malt overall. A bitter finish lingers for a little while, the finish is not as crisp and clean as the best IPAs I've had, but not terrible. The flavor profile of this IPA is similar to a west coast IPA, which makes me happy.
M: A bit thin for an IPA, though, well carbonated overall.
D: Beside the finish, this one is sessionable.
O: The best beer here, by a landslide! I really enjoy this IPA, it really surprised me considering CJ's other offerings.

This was served in a pint glass at the brewpub. It has a light clear golden color, perhaps a little too light for an IPA. However, it has a decent head and excellent retention. There is a dominant hop aroma, but it's probably not as strong of a hop aroma expected from an IPA. It's a very strong robust hop flavor with an extremely strong hop finish. The malt is present, but very subdued. The body is medium-light with high carbonation, perhaps a bit thin for an IPA.
The beer is drinkable and loaded with hops, but I feel it's a little to highly attenuated. The hops are 'in your face', but there's nothing really remarkable about it.

Like that annoying girl/guy you dated 2 years ago who just wouldn't shut the hell up, this beer is all looks, no substance.
A uniquely orange color with moderate carbonation and decent lacing makes this beer look pretty appealing. Big grapefruit nose. Fleeting malt presence that's quickly swallowed by an odd overhopped East Kent Goldings flavor. Just a vile, vile finish.
Not a great effort.
