11/8/2023 on tap at the brewery
Look: nice yellow, hint of orange. Received off of tap with 2 fingers of off-white head
Smell: really nice banana esters, little bit of bubblegum, slight lemon zest,
Taste: banana, PEAR, light clove, sweet, smooth!
Feel: medium body, medium carbonation
Overall: wow! I can't identify something that really stands out to NOT like. Wow!!

Got this one as a gift from the Duvel guy down the road. He's a huge fan he says.
From a bottle into a snifter
Best before 1 March 2016
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1 finger, looser, slightly foamy, off-white head with decent retention. Head fades to a full foamy wisp. Perfectly clear gamboge orange or light rust in color with no carbonation evident. Slight wisp remains til the end with traces of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: Lots of bubble gum, some green fruit, a bit of peppery spice, clove, some toffee and butterscotch aromas on the nose. Bold and well put together. Not as alcoholic on the nose as others in the style.
TASTE: Bubble gum, green apples, pears and spicy cloves up front. Flavorful start, with a medium but lingering finish of spices, peppers, green fruit, bubble gum and toffee sweetness for sure. Nice and well put together with no real alcohol presence. Really enjoying this one.
PALATE: Medium body and medium levels of carbonation. Creamy and smooth on the palate, lighter in weight, goes down smooth and finishes a bit dry. Good here.
OVERALL: This is a really, really nice lower abv triple. Often times I find the style a little tough to enjoy, as the alcoholic and phenolic profile tends to rub me the wrong way. This one had all the phenols without the alcohol, which is something I really appreciated. Definitely worth it if you a fan of the style. Thanks Duvel guy!

Bought an expensive 75cl bottle from the brewery a few months ago, and am surprised it's already retired.
A: Cloudy and vibrant orange with a ridiculous head. I lost at least 15cl due to it gushing from the top and me running to the sink. very thick head.
S: Slightly sweet and creamy malt, apricot, alcohol. Refreshing.
T: The alcohol is both present and pleasant. Creamy body, stinging alcohol. Melon.
M: There's a somewhat mouth puckering quality to the alcohol, however the medium body is nice and smooth.
D: A nice beer, it's too bad it's so expensive and now is retired.

I had this beer on tap serveral times at the brewery. But they are so inconsistent in the quality they produce. Lately the quality is a bit better but still. Lots diacetyl (butter) in aroma and mouthfeel. If they could control their problems in the brewery it could turn out quite nice though. Malty, flowers, light herbal. All the right ingredients are there.

Filled Jan 18 and bought at KBC festival from the brewery. Poors in with big head and nice cuppergold beer thats very hazy though. Nice nose with many fruitesters(apricot, grape, sweetripeapple) and a good maltnose. Litle sweet and also some yeastspice but very fresh all in all. Taste is full too, malty with caramellic note, spicy, sweet& alcoholic but getting into nice and bitter aftertaste. More then just enjoyable brew but be aware very complex.
Mouthfeel is great too having with all the taste lots of carbondioxide and yes this 75 cl bottle is gonna be drunk all the way!
