Copper, orange color with a very small head
smell: Corky, slight moth balls smell, no other smells, maybe some overripe fruit (apples)
taste: dry, caramel, light body, looks a little like Palm or Koninck, but this is fermented with bottom yeast. Not a very lively beer. There is very little hop, not much alcohol, fresh, over ripe fruits, in particular ripe apples.
Although the smell was not very inviting, the freshness of the beer was nice. When the brew warms, the taste of very very apples (if you know what I mean) comes upfront. I also had this beer from tap at the brewery itself. Then the taste was less corky and apple-like, but striking was the lack of liveliness in the beer. It is hard to describe, it is not only carbonation that is missing, it is a lack of distinct flavors.
