Thanks for sharing, Shane.
The pour is dark amber in color with an off-white head. There’s a touch of metal on the nose but it’s quickly overshadowed by caramel, toffee, and fruit, a lot of fruit, actually. The flavor is just as rich in fruit character with a lot of dark fruit character such as raisin and plum. There is a rather unfortunate sawdust note to it, though. A nice malt sweetness of cocoa, toffee, and brown sugar.

Thanks to Tim and Danica for the bottle.
A: Dark brown with a reddish tinge and a finger of beige foam.
S: Raisin, prune, and plum with a bready malt. Spices are light. There's a subtle gingerbread note.
T: Leather and prune with a little grape. Very estery and moderately bitter. Malt is bready and rich. There's a little alcohol in the finish.
M: Upper medium body with high carbonation and substantial alcohol warming.
Overall: A solid Belgian Strong Dark.
