Sampled 01-05-05 and long gone since then. A great Pale Ale brewed by Sam Sherwood prior to his departure. Poured a clear, clean copper with a full white head and medium carbonation. Head doesn't disipate too quickly, very nice. Nose is big and citrusy, hops grown on the side of the building, . Flavor starts out with big hoppy dryness and then is balanced by the maltiness. Finish starts dry and then gets even drier. Very nice beer. Not knowing IBU or AAU of the hops, this was agreat attempt at a beer with true "local" flavor.
