On-tap poured into a plastic pint glass at the after-party to the half marathon.
A- It was a slightly hazy, copper body with a decent, off-white head and heavy carbonation.
S- Definitely on the malty side. Lightly roasted and toasty grains mixed with a caramel aroma. Light, floral and slightly spicy hops.
T- Loads of toasty grains, nearing a burnt flavor. Hops were floral with hints of light spice. A long, sweet and burnt grain finish. A little rough around the edges.
M- Medium body with lots of carbonation.
O- Not as clean as I'd expect for the style. Made me wonder if it was lagered. Serviceable enough, but I probably wouldn't order it again.
