22 ounce bottle, bottled on 10/01/20, label says 11% ABV. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark fruit, vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt and caramel. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some dark bread, oak and molasses flavors. Barrel character is noticeable in both the aroma and taste, but not overpowering at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit syrupy and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good barrel aged brew, worth picking up if you come across some!

2020 Vintage:
22oz bottle purchased from Parsons North Brewing, born on 4/22/20 and served at 50 degress F:
L - black with a hazelnut head that lingered
S - light scents of malt and bourbon
T - very balanced and smooth. Mild bourbon flavor along with a dry stout taste. Really good taste that improves as the beer warms
F - On the thick side in terms of mouthfeel, mild carbonation. Very nice finish
O - Really good BA stout, very well balanced
2021 Vintage:
22 oz bottle, born on 5/17/21, poured into an Untappd snifter at 55 degrees F:
a tad boozier than the 2020 vintage, but still the blend of bourbon and malt is impressive. Notes of molasses and bakers chocolate also
