I am sharing a bottle of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store with The Gunny whilst here for our fantasy football draft. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had subtle dark chocolate and very subtle bourbon. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with chocolate, fig, and boozy presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with smoove carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

A - Black pour with no lacing and little to no carbonation.

S - Very light and delicate toasted chocolate, Bourbon, light oak, and a little bit of cherry.

T - Light chocolate toast, light Bourbon, light oak, light cherry, and ends on the sweeter boozier side.

M - Big medium body with a silky texture and warming in the back of the throat.

O - Pretty underwhelming.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid imperial pours a
dark blackish brown with a decent head of light brown foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and displays some
subtle lacing. Nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, moderate char,
and sweet chocolate. Flavors follow but surpass the nose with
a fine presentation of dark sweet chocolate dashed with bourbon,
oak, vanilla, moderate char, brulee, subtle cream, and dark
berry hints of blackberry and sweet cherry with a smidge of coffee.
Nice mouth feel; full body, smooth, rich, lightly coating, light carbonation,
and a sweet yet balanced finish that is lightly dry.

Overall---SOLID!

Cheers
