GdaĆsk 22/7 2019. 50 cl from tap at Restaurant Pod Basztami.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 1 cm thick lader of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish but with sharp, sour notes. Sweet pale malts, wet cardboard, light odor of butter, sharp, bitter-sour stabs.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent.
Standard, middle of the Road, Polish Pale Lager.

Not entirely sure what to expect here as I understand nothing on the label.
Rather large bubbles in the head. Aroma of washing up liquid and something that I cannot really explain in words. I'm close to being afraid to try.
Taste is much better than the aroma. But still it is rather funky and difficult to describe. There is some ok kind of Czechy style flowery hops, but this taste is overshadowed by some kind of flavour that I find it difficult to describe. Moldy lemon peel is the best way I can describe it. Mouth feel is not so bad, it's thin with some bitterness that flows through in the aftertaste.
It's very rare that I dislike bitterness in beer. However, with this, some more sweetness would improve it massively. The bitterness really has an unusual taste, kind of like it was brewed in a pond and this is the bottom of the pond, mixed with twigs and other things. Recently I made spaghetti bolognaise that was cooked for hours with thyme twigs in, and this had a similar bitter taste also. But when some sugar was added, it was great.
Overall it just tastes kind of funky and skunky. Not a fan. I am drinking this purely in my pursuit for 500 reviews, which is my current life ambition. When I reach it, I shall drink another beer. Yay.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet (bestillingsutvalget). ABV is 5.6%, extract 12.2%. Golden colour, big head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts and grassy and herbal hops. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty with hints of honey, moderate herbal hops.

8/5/18: $1.49 16.9 oz bottle purchased at Shop and Save on Nagle. Multiple pours into a flute glass, light golden pour, generous soupy head, thick lacing remains. Light malt and barley aroma. Light unpleasant taste, apple, malt. Very thin mouth feel. Not a good offering.

Label for US export reads "Golden Lion". No date, printed "PO L1/3".
Pours with a cloudy haze, orange with a thin layer of white surface foam. It breaks apart with a crumbled look to it. No lacing, sort of still and lifeless looking, occasional rising bubbles.
Aroma is heavy with cooked vegetables, DMS. Waterlogged cardboard.
Astringent with some apple esters, cardboard and mealy, soggy grains. Bland and disturbing.
Flabby feel, wet corn silage, gaseous and slick on the palate, hangs around and doesn't leave.
Bad beer, severely flawed and offensive tasting.

The color of beer is very bright, straw, clear. Foam white, fine bubble on the surface of the beer remains relatively long.
Malty aroma, very weak.
Taste also no revelations, weak, malt. Gentian this beer is like the smell and taste very poor, not clear. Saturation fairly high, and alcohol is not perceptible.
Swipes and so.
