5.7%, great. Seems to be Polish, but I guess it is brewed in some way to resemble a "Baltic" pilsner, though I'm not entirely sure what that means. According to Google translate, Mewa means seagull.

Beer bottle is the usual shape of Polish beers, and design is kind of boring, as usual also.

Typical pilsner appearance. Fairly faint aroma...light notes of chlorine and honey, and heavy uninviting mocne malt.

Quite a lot of bitterness and a strong Polish mocne taste, that reminds me heavily of a Debowe, Warka or Tatra mocne. Yes it doesn't have the alcohol strength to match. I have had some Baltic pilsners before and they were quite dry, crisp, pure tasting, with light refreshing hops. This is heavy, mocne tasting, and nothing like how I would describe a Baltic pilsner. Feel is heavy and flat and not great. It's the find of beer that I don't really want to drink. Perla mocne is ok though.

The hops are detectable but they just add a dryness without any life or taste. Overall this creates a flat, heavy, kind of boring taste, aside from the fairly strong alcohol content, I'm not entirely sure why anyone would drink this.

Best to feed this to the seagulls. It has the elements of the worst mocnies but without the mocne alcohol content. Stick to one of Perla or Lomza's offerings.
